Improved Enterprise Deployment Options and Updated Libraries

  • Added an option to the enterprise deployment tool that prevents installation of Microsoft SQL CE libraries needed to convert users’ libraries from previous versions of Snagit.
  • Updated messaging in the Snagit library when the option to convert media from older versions is disabled.
  • Disabled the “Record a Video” tour if video recording is disabled from the enterprise deployment tool.
  • Updated Hunspell library to version 1.7.2.
  • Updated Snagit support tool to no longer depend on unsupported

    Better Account Visibility, Editing Options, and Snagit Tips

  • Updates to the Account dropdown in the upper-right corner of the editor:
  • Show the user’s profile picture rather than the email address.
  • Show the display name from the user’s TechSmith profile rather than the first and last name.
  • Show a notification icon if a Snagit update is available.
  • Clarified subscription and maintenance expiration dates.
  • Updated the smart move control from a toggle to a button.
  • Added a button to the editor toolbar to quickly send a video to Camtasia for additional editing options.
